John Force's near fatal crash after losing his teammate earlier this year, Dale Jr. moving to Hendrick, the Mclaren/Ferrari spy saga and penalty, the loss of the USGP, open-wheelers moving to NASCAR but the BIGGEST story would have to be the Alonso/Hamilton battle at McLaren and the fallout of Alonso and the team splitting after 1 season together. Who would have thought that one of the most successful and advanced teams in F1 would sign a 2 time world champion only to treat him like a rookie driver as they battle to win (than lose) the world driver's and manufacturer's championship? hmmm, I bet Juan Pablo Montoya isn't surprised.

As you can see below, Alex Zanardi never ceases to amaze. Competing in his first NYC marathon with less than a month's preparation, Alex at age 41 finished 4th out of 53 competitors in the hand bike category covering 26.2 miles in 1 hour, 33 minutes and 17 seconds. Amazing!
