Going green for 2007

Its already 2007 and depending on the series, the season is only weeks away. In less than 12 days, the Grand Am Rolex Sports Car will take the green flag for the 24 hours of Daytona and in less than 2 months, Formula One will start their season in Australia. Of particular interest to me is the launch of the Champ Car World Series season in early April at a new street circuit in Las Vegas featuring the new Panoz DP01 chassis. This new event will feature the debut of the first all new CCWS chassis in nearly a decade racing at the inaugural GP of Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona or the CCWS event at Las Vegas however; I am making plans and hope to attend the following races:

April 20-22 IHRA Emax Nitro Jam Spring Nationals at Rockingham Dragway
April 27-29 Grand Am Rolex Series VIR 400k at Virginia International Raceway
May 18-20 Ferrari Challenge
at Virginia International Raceway
May 24 Nextel Cup Coca-Cola 600 Qualifying & Speed World Challenge GT at Lowes Motor Speedway
June 30 IndyCar Series Suntrust Indy Challenge at Richmond International Raceway
August 17-19 AMA Superbike Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals
at Virginia International Raceway
October 5-6
American Le Mans Series Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta
October 6-7 Grand Am KONI Challenge Twin 6 hours and GT Live at Virginia International Raceway
